Get started by learning how a hive works as you build your own frame – a fun and interactive way to connect with the world of bees.
This hands-on experience gives you insight into the intricate architecture of the beehive and the precision engineering that makes a successful honey colony.
We’ll kit you out in full protective gear and run through a quick safety briefing to ensure you feel confident and comfortable.
Please bring your own wellington boots or sturdy footwear for walking through the field – everything else is provided.

Stroll through our hive site as we chat about the different colonies, their performance, and any challenges they may be facing.
It’s the perfect way to ease into the environment and shake off any nervousness before getting up close with the bees themselves.

If available, we’ll peek inside a Nuc (a small colony) to see a growing hive in action.
Then we’ll open a main hive, explore the hive body, and wrap up by searching for the queen herself – the heart of the colony and a truly special sight for any bee enthusiast!
